In December 2015, after having been away for more than 7years, I finally went home to visit my family. It was an emotional and exciting visit. Despite having spent the first 26years of my life in this country, coming home felt like visiting some far-away land I'd never been to. It did not take very long for me to realize how much I had changed, and it did take a bit of adjusting to settle in. I was half-expecting everyone around me to think and act in the same way as me, but needless to say, this did not happen. For the most part the infrastructure and society itself seemed to have been frozen in time for more than a decade, except for my little home town, Bambili which was bustling with real estate development. In my three weeks stay, I did manage to travel around the country from Bambili to Yaounde, Douala, and Limbe. In hot tropical heat, I did manage to captures some moments of people and places. Enjoy!!
